Dr Test Prep

--Dr. Test Prep is the working name of Dr. Gary B. Cohen who started out just like you--a college grad who
found that one degree was not enough. So like any self-respecting bum, I decided to go back to school--the
hitch?--I HAD to take the GRE EXAM!
-- Again, I did what many of you have done--bought EVERY book on the market--if it was in a bookstore, I
BOUGHT IT ! I studied for weeks, learned EVERYTHING in all these books, and....--I BLEW THE EXAM ! All
the tricks in the books were useless. NO problem looked anything like they did in them. All those tricks?
Useless. What to do? I decided to try to make up my own tricks.
--And I did: I made up tricks for every problem, took the test, got a great score, got into grad school, got my
Ph.D, started to teach English...but was unsatisfied. I thought, perhaps, LAW was more ME, so another
mountain to climb. I studied for the LSAT-- developed a new set of tricks--took the test--and aced it too !
--You see where this is going, don't you? I thought that if I combined a law degree with an MBA, I would be
set for life. But--the MBA meant the GMAT-- another set of tricks needed--but the same result !
-- However, before I even got a chance to go to LAW school, life interfered (a wife, a house, BILLS!! you get
the drift)--and I had to get a job. I became a college English teacher, again, but on the side--to earn enough to
pay off MY STUDENT LOANS--I began to tutor people on those tests. Soon word got out about my tricks. One
person told another, and before I knew it, schools were hiring me to teach my methods to their students--and
this paid better(but just a little) than teaching English--so I had a new career. I taught these courses at
Vanderbilt, Georgia State, Mercer, Emory, Clayton State University, Kennesaw State....yikes, I'm tired!
